Animal Rescue and Adoption

Valley Save-A-Pet helps rehabilitate abandoned dogs and cats and places them in suitable, loving homes.  Animals are kept in foster homes or a private boarding kennel until adoption.  Adoption Days are held twice monthly at The Purr-fect Place, the VSAP resale store.   Information about animals ready for adoption is available at the phone number shown below. 

Spay & Neuter Assistance

Our Have-A-Heart Program provides low cost spay/neuter services to pet owners in the Greater Cleveland area.   We also provide services for feral cats through our “Trap, Neuter, Release” project. 

Veterinary Care Assistance

Financial help is provided to owners who cannot afford the cost of emergency veterinary care for their pets. 

Humane Education

 VSAP cooperates with The Humane Society of the United States in their “Kind News” program.  We fund the cost to have age appropriate newspapers sent to children in fifty Cleveland area classrooms.  Teachers who would like their classes included should call the phone number below or  send their request to Valley Save-A-Pet, PO Box 39221, Solon, OH  44139.
