Programs

Valley Save-A-Pet has continued its animal education programs with talks to groups, such as kids, seniors, and scouts. VSAP also has a classroom program, and gives help over the phone to people needing assistance in caring for their animals.

Spay & Neuter Assistance

Our Have-A-Heart Program provides low cost spay/neuter services to pet owners. Call (440) 232-CATS on Mondays and Tuesdays between Noon and 3:00 PM. After March 31, call (440) 232-9124, Monday through Saturday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Animal Rescue and Adoption

We help rehabilitate abandoned dogs and cats and help in placing them in suitable, loving homes. Call (440) 232-9124 Monday through Saturday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Veterinary Care Assistance

Provides financial help to owners who cannot afford the cost of veterinary care. Call (440) 232-9124 Monday through Saturday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Annual Pet Food Drive

Distributes donated food from individuals, veterinary clinics, and retail stores to hunger centers and pet owners in need.

Humane Education

One of our efforts is in cooperating with The Humane Society of the United States in their "Kind News" program. We pay to have these age appropriate newspapers sent to children in fifty Cleveland area classrooms.
