Fundraising

Valley Save-A-Pet was established in 1976. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to provide health care, shelter and a future filled with love for the dogs and cats we have rescued. We operate one of the most extensive spay and neuter programs in Northeast Ohio, including our "Trap, Neuter, and Return" feral cat project.

We are a totally volunteer organization that depends on your contributions to meet our operating budget. 100% of all donations goes towards helping animals.

The Purr-fect Place store, which is stocked by donations of new and used items, antiques, collectibles and miscellaneous, collects money for Valley Save-A-Pet. It is located at:

715 Broadway Bedford, OH 44146 (440) 232-9124 Please deposit money for Valley Save-A-Pet in the red Dog House donation box in the store. For references to specific rescue groups, such as for pure-blood breeds of dogs, call the store.

Fundraisers include:

• Red Dog House Donation Boxes placed in businesses.
• "Picture Your Pet" for the holidays, and Gift Mart is held the first week of November. Pictures of you and your pets are taken with Santa Claus or in front of a Menorah.
• Our Annual Raffle Ticket sales.
• Direct appeal for financial support.
